Fluffy’s New Year’s Resolutions
Happy New Year! Are you making resolutions this year? If so, your kitty will be right by your side—or on your lap—as you strive to make your new goals. In fact, Fluffy may also have a few things planned for the year. Read on as a local Pickerington, OH vet lists some things your kitty may strive for in 2018.
Get More Sleep
Cats really are quite sleepy little furballs. Your drowsy pet can sleep up to 20 hours a day. Fluffy may vow to catch even more Z’s in the coming year. Help your furball meet this goal by making sure she has lots of comfy beds and napping spots.
Kitties are very adorable when they stretch. Stretching is actually good for Fluffy. Your pet’s muscles can get tight after a nap! Your cat may try to stretch even more in the coming year. She may also attemp some advanced sleeping positions.
Many of our feline friends love to snuggle up with their favorite humans. Fluffy may want to spend even more time on your lap this year. Indulge your pet’s snuggle requests. Cuddling with a purring cat is one of the finer things in life, as far as we’re concerned!
Achieve The Perfect Pounce
Your cat may never have to hunt anything in her entire life, but she’ll still be interested in pouncing and jumping on things. Fluffy may want to work on her form a bit in the coming months, however. Help your pet make this goal by offering her lots of fun toys, and taking time to play with her.
Finish Training The Humans
Does your kitty have you trained to feed her when she meows? Do you find yourself sitting uncomfortably when your cat is on your lap, so you don’t have to move her? By the end of the year, Fluffy may have you completely wrapped around her paw!
Help The Humans
Cats are actually quite thoughtful little furballs. Your considerate pet will offer her assistance with some of your household chores. Fluffy may sleep in your fresh laundry to keep it warm, or help you change the sheets.
