Answer Your Cat’s Questions Day

You’ve probably heard the old adages about how curious cats are, but did you know that there is actually a day dedicated to Fluffy’s inquisitiveness? January 22nd is Answer Your Cat’s Questions Day! While no one can say for sure what kitties would be most eager to find out about, we have a few good guesses. A local Pickerington, OH vet lists some of them below.

Why Are You Moving Me?

If you have a cat, it’s probably safe to say that you’ve noticed our feline friends are, well, rather drowsy little furballs. Fluffy may curl up for a nap on something you need, and then protest when you pick her up mid-snooze.

Where Does My Sunbeam Go?

Have you ever caught your kitty napping in a sunny spot? Cats certainly love sunbathing! Fluffy may be very curious about where her sunbeam goes.

Why Can’t I Go Outside?

Keeping your kitty indoors will protect her from cars, predators, chemicals, and weather. Fluffy may not quite understand that, however.

Is It Dinnertime Yet?

Many of our feline overlords have no qualms about letting us know when they want food. Fluffy may meow, rub against your legs, or run out in front of you to tell you she wants her dish filled Right Meow.

Can I Play With That?

Kitties are hunters by nature, and have the instincts of stealthy predators. Fluffy may want to practice her pouncing skills on anything and everything. Unfortunately, cats don’t always know what’s safe for them, so you may end up taking away potentially-dangerous ‘playthings’ from your frisky pet.

Can I Sleep There?

Fluffy is always on the lookout for comfy new napping spots. Any time you bring a new item into your home, there’s a good chance that your kitty will immediately inspect it to see if it would make a good cat bed.

Why Are You Doing That?

As far as Fluffy is concerned, nothing is more important than petting her. If you are busy doing something, your feline pal may not understand why you are ignoring her.

What Are You Doing?

Kitties can be rather nosy. Your cat may supervise you as you go about your day-to-day tasks, and may even follow you around!
